Good morning...not really..sort of

Hello Auckland. Well it is a lovely place it really is... The ever so friendly staff at Thrifty AKL airport were very pleased with our flight's delayed arrival.. 0145 is a nasty time for everyone. Yeah, don't worry about offering visitors a map to find their way, meh done it before a little while ago. How hard can it be... We know we are staying near the Sky Tower, so we can just head for that. Who needs maps anyway? We found it. Thanks EUROPCAR for letting us use your map.

Who need sleep too? 

Rydges Auckland, thank you for the TWIN room. Very romantic of you. We know... It's 3am.... We've checked in late... And it's the only room left. Got it. Seriously, it is romantic and highly recommended to spice things up - if you don't cuddle then you end up on the floor, so spend the night clutching each other in fear of a fall from the bed.

Ring ring...ring ring.... Oh look it is now 10am and you now have a room. That's ok we like having minimal sleep, and a ill thought out phone call from the front desk. Lucky we have a harbour view.... We didn't book a harbour view... But it is nice to have one. If you look closely you will see it, yep right next to the view of the Typing Pool in the office building across the street...yep right beside the adjacent hotel room window. Oh the serenity.

Waiting.....

It's all a bit wet outside. But we are patiently waiting....

Only aite bit late and hopefully the little @$?!er behind me will have a nap soon.

Clyde is ready, Daggie is at Grandma and Pop's and we are trotting across to AKL then to WLG. Looking forward to having a few days away..
